Meet the Founder
My name is Tina Al Qubaisi and I am glad you are venturing in to find out more about us.
Dhabian Equestrian Club was born of the passion I have for horses. All of my life I have been around animals, owning cats, dogs, birds and much more, but horses were always something special to me. Horses were part of my soul and although I lived in the Middle East for most of my life, it was not easy to be around horses unless you owned one or just joined a riding school and had lessons.
I started Dhabian Equestrian Club, by rescuing one horse, and that one rescue led to a lifetime commitment.
Time to Move!!!!!!
One horse led to another and another, then we had 12 horses at home in the garden. Obviously, 12 horses were a lot so, I decided to build the stables at our farm in Rahba and named the club after my favorite horse Dhabian.
To date, D.E.C. has over 40 horses and my team and I will still, not say "No" to any horse in need of a second chance. As I always say: "if it has a heartbeat then we will take it in and try and save its life".
For those of you who have stayed the course with us over the years, I thank you.
2014 marked the year we rebranded and transitioned from a "family-run bundle of fun" to a full-fledged operational organization run by the family for the community.
We organized ourselves to better serve both human and equine communities. With your help, we will always keep moving forward.
Stay tuned and follow us in our journey to please our clients as best we can.
